Wow — it’s 2019 already! When did that happen?! I hope you are all having a wonderful start to a new year so far!
I’ve been doing a lot of thinking this week about the phrase we all keep hearing “New Year. New You.”
The truth is, I don’t want a new me. I might not be everyone’s cup of tea {which is perfectly fine with me}, but I like who I am + I damn sure love my life. So while I’m all about making goals for 2019, I don’t want to fundamentally change who I am. I don’t think any of us should. We are who we are. That’s what makes us unique. That’s what makes life fun + exciting.
So this is me. Take it or leave it.
My word for 2019 is “unapologetic” — I invite you to join me by going into this new year embracing all things YOU + not apologizing for it. Cheers to 2019!
What word did you choose as your word of the year? I would love to hear!
PS – My entire outfit, head to toe, is from Ann Taylor. I partnered with Ann Taylor this winter to show you some of my favorite pieces for the holidays + ways to wear them all winter long.
